About Erich Mounce

Erich Mounce is an expert in the health care industry. Mounce is the President and CEO of the Envision Hospital Corporation in Scottsdale, Arizona. Mounce has had operational responsibility for 2,373 licensed beds within 6 acute care hospital facilities located in large urban regions throughout the United States since 2006. Mounce mobilized $60 million in refinancing in 90 days, which accumulated an extra $10 million dollars in liquidity. Erich Mounce served on the Advisory Board and is the Board Director for Pacifica Hospital since 2002. Mounce is also the co-founder for LovingBack.com, and is involved in helping with the Healthy Communities Foundation since 2004. Before Envision Hospital Corporation, Mounce started his career as a licensed paramedic through Los Angeles County in 1981. Erich Mounce worked as the Senior Field Paramedic for Los Angeles City Fire Department from 1981to 1991. Mounce earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Health Administration from California State University Northridge. While completing his master’s degree during 1991, Mounce held several positions within Medco Associates including being a IPA manager and the Corporate Vice President in Sun Valley, California. Erich Mounce began working at Doctors Corporation of Southern California in Brea, California as their CEO from 1994 to 1996. Mounce managed the start up of a physician management organization that handled independent physician associations and clinic operations. Mounce moved on to Doctors Community Healthcare Corporation as the Executive Vice President and Administration and M&A in Scottsdale, Arizona from 1996 to 2002. Mounce added $300 million in net revenue through three major acquisitions and two management contracts. Mounce continued at Doctors Community Health care Corporation from 2002 to 2006 as Executive Vice President but was also promoted as Chief Operating Officer. Mounce raised $13 million in new private equity from key participants in the company’s future which included vendors and MDs to complete company’s emergence from bankruptcy.
